Dilophosaurus is one of the most frightening predators to ever walk the earth... Unlike the Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus is daunting in size standing up to 10ft tall. Combine his intimidating size with his crazy ability to spit venom and The Lost World has one full-fledged hunter on the loose! Even a juvenile Dilophasaurus can pose a threat to most fully grown dinos so be sure to not take this beast lightly!
Dilophosaurus possesses a large cowl on his neck and when angry or agitated he'll flare it wide open showing off his bright orange and red scales. This beautiful display of colors might be the last sight his prey will ever see before being hit by a razor-sharp claw ambush, tail whip, or swift stream of venom.
One of the earliest carnivores, we now know that Dilophosaurus was actually poisonous! Spitting its venom at its prey, causing blindness and eventually paralysis, all while allowing the carnivore to eat at its leisure. This makes Dilophosaurus a beautiful, but deadly addition to the Lost World.
