The Kookaburra

INTRODUCING THE KOOKABURRA solid silver statue.

The Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree. Merry merry king of the bush is he!  No, we’re not expanding into casting popular poetry into silver. This is our very special #4 in the Coins Of The World silver statue collection – The Australian Kookaburra.

The Kookaburra was introduced by the Perth Mint in 1990 and fast became a series that was one of the most popular in the world. Every year it featured a different Kookaburra reverse.
To date, there have been 26 different designs minted, but today we present to you the original 1990 Kookaburra – perched atop his tree trunk as that “merry merry king of the bush”.

Imagined and designed by 3D master sculptor Cosmin Morar, this cheeky Silver Kookaburra contains a massive 20 Troy ounces of solid silver! Each statue is hand-crafted and completed with the HotCo.co proprietary silver antique polish.

Kookaburra coins are a favorite of investors and collectors and the 1990 replica statue will no doubt follow. It’s a limited edition Kookaburra collectible that must be secured fast. And if you’ve ever heard the Kookaburra laugh, you’ll know he’ll bring a smile to your desk.

He is highly selective in his projects, and we are fortunate to have him create the majestic Kookaburra statue for the Coins Of The Collection.
